    3.0 GPA Colleges 2021

    A unweighted GPA of 3.0 means a student has earned a B-average in high school.

    A unweighted GPA of 3.0 means a student has earned a B-average in high school.

    Many colleges and universities accept students with a 3.0 GPA. If have a 3.0 GPA and you're interested in private schools, consider Saint Joseph's College of Maine,Iona College in New York.

    Or, if you'd prefer a large state school, look at Alabama State, Central Washington, or Winston Salem State in Georgia.

    Remember, these schools have an average GPA of 3.0, which means about half of the students have a higher GPA, and half have a lower GPA. In general, colleges prefer to see students with a rising GPA, which means their grades have gone up over time.

    Community college can be a great option for students who want to bring up their GPA before applying to 4-year school.
